Experienced primary school and special needs teacher Rachael Hair created Tiny Tweeties alongside skilled musician husband Chris in 2010, after witnessing the positive effect that participating in singing and music had on children’s learning in the variety of settings she had taught in.
After beginning to deliver public sessions in North East England 2010, Tiny Tweeties went on to deliver interactive music sessions for families in school settings, libraries, private nurseries and children’s centres across the United Kingdom.
In 2011 we developed a training arm to the business and began to provide events for early years professionals across the UK and internationally, arming them with practical skills and ideas to enrich their work, inspiring in them the benefits of music, singing and parental involvement in raising early years curriculum standards.
We have a growing range of products, which includes music and resources for use in education settings as well as music to enjoy at home. We have written songs for the BBC and performed on CBeebies channel.
Today we continue to deliver our weekly sessions with families in the North East, whilst managing our growing library of products which are used worldwide, and travelling to schools and other locations to deliver sessions with children and training events for EY professionals.
Tiny Tweeties works with parents, teachers and children to bring learning to life through music.
We create music and resources to use in education and at home; we deliver unique music-based sessions in Early Years environments; we train EY professionals in using music to enhance all areas of learning; and in our local area (North East England) we provide regular sessions for parents and children to attend and enjoy.
