A bit about us

Our interactive music sessions are designed to engage imaginations and stimulate creativity in young children. Through song, music and dance we explore exciting themes, engaging characters, well-known stories and traditional rhymes. We have many exciting themes that enhance popular early years interests. We go exploring with dinosaurs, we journey into outer space, we help save the day with our favourite superheroes, we sail with pirates, explore animals in the wild and much more…

We have created a huge library of highly acclaimed music, with songs, rhymes and stories which help engage children and to encourage the development of a broader vocabulary. We also use traditional songs but rejuvenate them with our unique style that all children (and adults) seem to love! Our sessions also help to engage parents in their children’s learning, and with our song collections available to purchase a continuation of this learning can happen at home.

Our sessions focus on the three prime areas of learning in Foundation stage:

Communication and language

Development involves giving children opportunities to experience a rich language environment; to develop their confidence and skills in expressing themselves; and to sing and listen in a range of situations.

Physical development

Involves providing opportunities for young children to be active and interactive; and to develop their co-ordination, control, and movement.

Personal, social and emotional development

Involves helping children to develop a positive sense of themselves, and others; to form positive relationships and develop respect for others; to develop social skills about feelings and to develop confidence.

Where it all began

Tiny Tweeties was created by Rachael Hair and her husband Chris. They started the business in 2010 after the birth of their second child. When looking for quality music-based classes to attend with their little girl, they were unable to find any in their local area so decided to create their own unique live music sessions for children and families.

In 2012 they performed on Cbeebies and have been commissioned to write songs for broadcast on the channel. They have also worked on productions for ITV and other media platforms. Over the last 8 years they have written and produced music which is now used all over the world, performed and sang with thousands of families, worked in hundreds of schools and have trained teachers and early educators in the UK and internationally, promoting the developmental benefits and importance of music in the early years.

Primary and special needs teacher Rachael and musician Chris write and perform their own original music which has been embraced by families, schools and nurseries across the UK and internationally. They work alongside teachers, early years educators, consultants and health visitors to create highly-acclaimed content which enhances development in the early years.

Rachael and Chris are proud of the strong and reputable business that they have nurtured and developed, and with demand increasing they have now developed a franchise package to enable people to join the team, build their own business and bring Tiny Tweeties sessions to different areas and communities across the UK and beyond.
