Welcome to

We work with parents, teachers and children to bring learning to life through music.

Created by an experienced primary & special needs teacher and a skilled musician, Tiny Tweeties provides a huge library of specially crafted music for use in EYFS and early years education at home. We also provide live music / singing groups for young children; toddlers and babies, giving them the best start and providing experiences where you will enjoy a learning, musical adventure together, delivered by fully trained, official Tiny Tweeties class leaders.

Sessions are currently running in the North East: Sunderland, and Washington Tyne and Wear.

Music is an incredible tool for learning in the early years foundation stage. Our interactive sessions are designed to enhance the development of essential early learning skills, through engaging and uplifting songs. Children will learn and grow whilst singing and dancing, laying the foundations to a lifetime of education.

Are you interested in running your own baby music class? Take a look at our franchise opportunity, where we will provide you with everything you need to run your own successful children’s music business.

Additionally we also provide training across the UK for education professionals in using music to enhance all areas of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

By attending Tiny Tweeties public sessions, you and your little one will access so much more than at your average toddler class or music group. Our annual programme has been carefully written and designed around the seven areas of learning in the EYFS, with music and movement supporting many skills needed for achieving the early learning goals.

Singing is one of the best things you can do with your developing child. Research shows that parental engagement in learning, especially singing, underpins many learning outcomes in the early years. Singing with your child can benefit attachment, listening, language, communication, early phonics and pre-reading skills too.

Combined with movement and instruments, singing also enhances physical development: both fine and gross motor, hand-eye coordination and pre-writing movements. So, it is with all of these outcomes in mind that we have specifically arranged, written and devised our sessions in order to give you and your child the best start and an amazing journey of learning together.

The baby session is for babies from zero to just walking and this ensures that little ones can enjoy our fantastic Tiny Tweeties songs and movements with their adults in a gentle environment, using percussion instruments, fabrics and lots more to bring themes to life.

These sessions are themed and each theme lasts four weeks to help consolidate language, rhythmical patterns, enhance anticipation and prediction. Physical development is enhanced through gross and fine motor actions to the songs with you helping your little ones to bounce, enjoy the rhythm and eventually take little steps together as you move to the songs. Puppets and special characters help engage the children and bring songs to life for everyone.

The themes range from dinosaurs, space, seaside/pirates, wild animals, classic rhymes and stories, spring/minibeasts, superheroes, winter/Christmas, Autumn/Halloween and more. This means your repertoire of songs will build as you explore each exciting new theme together and continue the learning at home with your enthused little one.

Family Tweeties sessions are for children aged 0-5. These sessions are lively with lots of singing, dancing and movement for the whole family. It means siblings can attend together and older children get a chance to move and express themselves to the music.
